Example- We found this job for youYou met every must-have with a verified score.
- Applied through the company's own pageWith your verified-profile link. They see your scores, never your answers.
- Your CV was handed to their hiring team
- Waiting for their reply
Timed tests that give you a verified score
30 questions in 35 minutes, written by AI for your attempt from the test's syllabus and your CV. The timer runs on our server, and companies see your best score, never your answers.
- Your answers save as you go. If your internet drops, open the test again from My tests and carry on.
- No two questions cover the same thing. The AI plans a list of distinct concepts before your test starts.
- Take it again and your best score counts. The question writer steers away from questions you've already been asked.
Try one. Every question in your report comes with an explanation like this.
Predict the output
What does this print?
def add(item, bucket=[]):
bucket.append(item)
return bucket
add("a")
print(add("b"))
The default list is created once, when the function is defined, so every call without a bucket shares it. Use bucket=None and create the list inside.
Four kinds of question, mixed the way interviews mix them
Which clause filters groups after GROUP BY has run?
- WHERE
- HAVING
- ORDER BY
- LIMIT
- What it tests
- Quick checks of what you know.
- How it's marked
- Instantly and exactly.
- In your report
- The right answer, with an explanation.
What does this log?
console.log([1, 2, 3].map(parseInt))
Answer: [1, NaN, NaN]. map passes the index as parseInt's radix.
- What it tests
- Reading code the way interviewers make you: no running it.
- How it's marked
- Your output is compared with the traced answer.
- In your report
- The right output, with an explanation of how the code gets there.
Explain the difference between a process and a thread, and say when you would choose threads.
A strong answer covers: separate vs shared memory, the cost of creating and switching each, shared state needing locks, and a case like a web server handling many requests.
- What it tests
- Explaining an idea in 3 to 5 sentences.
- How it's marked
- Out of 10, against a model answer.
- In your report
- Written feedback on what you missed, like the sample report above.
How did you keep one user's expenses private from another, and what would you change if the app had 10,000 users?
- What it tests
- Your own projects, the part of an interview most people practise least. Upload your CV once.
- How it's marked
- Out of 10, against a model answer.
- In your report
- Written feedback on what a stronger answer would add.

A verified profile you can share
Your scores are earned in timed tests, not typed in, so the profile we hand to companies is one they can trust. Share the same page anywhere.
- Verified scores, badges and rank. Your best score on each test shows on your page. It's what a company sees when we hand over your CV.
- Built from your CV. The AI writes your about, experience, education, projects and skills. You can edit anything, and switch off any section you don't want shown.
- One link. Your page lives at readyforhires.com/u/you, with a proper preview card on LinkedIn and WhatsApp.
- Download it as a PDF CV. You choose whether contact details show and whether search engines list your page.

- Connections and follows. Invite someone to connect; once they accept, you're connected. Follow members and companies one way, and see people you may know through mutual connections.
- Posts, comments, reactions and reposts. Share an update, an image, a link or a card of a verified achievement. React with Like, Celebrate or Insightful, comment and reply, or repost with your own words.
- Groups and campus communities. Join a public group at once or ask to join a private one, start your own, and find your college's community of students and alumni.
- Recommendations. Write one for a connection, or ask for one. It shows on your profile only once you approve it.

Questions people ask
Where do the jobs come from?
From companies' own careers sites. Each job shows where it is and whether it's remote, hybrid or on site. We read each opening, work out the experience and skills it needs, and list the readyforhires tests that cover them. New openings are added every day; a job that is filled or taken down leaves your matches.
Who can join?
Any software engineer or student, anywhere in the world. Everything on readyforhires is in English.
What happens when I apply?
Once you've reached the pass mark on a job's tests, "Apply and hand over my CV" sends the company your verified profile and CV, and we follow up with them. Every step we take, and every answer from the company, shows under your applications in the app.
Do companies see my test answers?
No. Companies see your verified scores, never your answers. Your CV is shared only for jobs you apply to.
Is my profile public?
Yes, by default, so you can share it. Your profile sections are public unless you switch them off; contact details and your CV file stay hidden until you turn them on, and you can hide any section, your scores, your rank or the whole profile any time.
Is it really free?
Signing up, building your profile, the network, browsing jobs and coding practice are free. Most tests are free right now. The rest cost ₹5 to ₹25, pay per test, no subscription. Prices in Indian rupees (INR).
Which currency are prices in?
Indian rupees (INR), including taxes. Payment is taken in INR through Razorpay, so check that your card or payment method can pay in INR.
Is coding practice free?
Yes. Anyone can browse the problem list and read the Explore guides; sign up free to open a problem, run your code and submit it.
Which languages can I code in?
Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C++, C, C#, Go, Rust, Kotlin, Swift, Ruby and PHP. Pick one for each problem and switch whenever you like; every language runs against the same hidden tests. Database problems are answered in SQL.
Who writes the questions?
An AI model running on our own servers writes each question as you go. It works from the test's syllabus, any study material for it, and your CV. Before your test starts it plans a list of distinct concepts, so no two questions in a test cover the same thing.
Are these the real questions companies ask?
No. Company tests follow publicly shared interview patterns for that company and role: the topics, question styles and difficulty. They are practice, not leaked papers, and we are not affiliated with any company listed.
How are answers graded?
Multiple choice is marked exactly. For predict-the-output questions, your output is compared with the traced answer. Short and CV answers are graded out of 10 against a model answer, with written feedback.
What if my internet drops during a test?
Your answers save as you go and the timer runs on our server. Open the test again from My tests and carry on; time keeps counting while you're away.
Can I take the same test again?
Yes, buy it again. The question writer steers away from questions you've already been asked on that test, and your best score is the one that counts.
How are badges earned?
Automatically. Finish tests, score well, keep a streak, cover different topics, complete a company's role tests, solve coding problems or reach the top of the leaderboard, and the matching bronze, silver or gold badge appears on your profile.
Where is my data stored?
On servers we operate in India, including the AI model that reads your CV and answers. Details in the Privacy Policy.
How do refunds work?
A test you paid for but haven't started is refunded in full within 7 days. If a test failed because of us, we restart it or refund it. Write to [email protected] with your receipt number.
I'm hiring. Can I use readyforhires?
Write to [email protected] and tell us about the role.
I run a placement cell or a coaching centre. Can I use readyforhires?
Register your institution on the campus portal: your students in batches, company drives, assignments and placement stats. What the campus portal does.
Running a college placement cell or a coaching centre?
readyforhires campus is a portal of your own. Register your institution, add your students, and run your placements and their practice from one place. Your students keep their own readyforhires accounts, so everything they earn stays theirs.
- Your students, in batches and groups. Add them yourself or send an invite link. See each one's branch, year and placement status, and export the list as a CSV.
- Company drives. Post a visit with its role, package, eligibility and rounds. Students who qualify apply from their own account, and you see every applicant with their verified scores.
- Assignments. Give a batch a practice test or a study path with a due date, and see who has finished and who hasn't.
- Placement stats. How many are placed and where, and how your batches are doing on tests — on a dashboard, and as a CSV.
- Your team. Invite placement officers, faculty and viewers. Each one gets only what their role needs.
Registering is free, and readyforhires checks every institution before its portal goes live. An institute signs in on the campus portal with a login of its own, not with a member account.
